Supply Chain Analyst

Days Based Role Monday to Friday

Salary Up to £35,000 DOE per annum + Benefits

Are you looking to join a Fast-Paced progressive food processing business based within an easily accessible location in between Leeds, Wakefield, and Dewsbury? Our clients is a large-scale business that can offer a truly varied and challenging Role working closely with the Commercial Manager

It’s an incredibly fast paced Food environment so you need to be able to cope with this and keep in mind it’s the type of place where everything needs to be done, yesterday! As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will be part of the Retail Supply Team working closely with Production and the End Retailer.

Within this role you will be responsible for ensuring the retailer receives the right products, on time managing the full lifecycle from procurement to delivery. You need to be a strong character and not be afraid to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.

Role and responsibilities of the Supply Chain Analyst:

  • Maintaining running forecasts
  • Monitoring orders, availability, and waste output
  • Management and control of the inbound supply chain process working with various teams including Buying, production, and Supply chain through to Logistics to deliver to agreed timeframes and KPIs.
  • Maintaining supplier availability throughout the year with particular focus on seasonal events
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships to help assist with the smooth running of the whole supply chain process
  • Being the first point of contact for retailers, managing stock levels and encouraging repeat orders
  • Contribute to wider team objectives such as long-term cost saving initiatives & efficiencies
  • Contribute to team KPIs including running cost reports & data analysis
  • Sales data analyst and project management

What you need to be considered for the Supply Chain Analyst position:

  • Experience in a Supply Chain role within the Food or FMCG industry
  • Commercial Awareness
  • Highly analytical skills, data Literate
  • Customer facing experience or able to demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • The ability to build close working relationships
  • Proven experience of supply chain, with knowledge of demand planning and forecasting
  • “Can Do Approach”
  • Ability to work on your own and think on your feet attitude and approach
  • Excellent IT Skills specifically Excel
