Working for a company employing leading professionals within the sector, this Permanent position as Stock Controller based at Thornton Science Park, Cheshire, has arisen due to internal promotion, and will be working for an organisation that has ambitious growth deliverables it has been achieving and is forecast to achieve over the next few years.

Responsibilities of the Stock Controller;

  • Establish good working relationships with internal customers, suppliers and hauliers to enable effective management of sudden changes to needs and allowing urgent requirements to be met.
  • Liaise with hauliers to provide effective and efficient despatch on an operational basis.
  • Adhere to export and import regulations to ensure that empty tanks and full product tanks follow correct procedures.
  • Supplier costs are monitored and managed, approved and authorised for payment as required.
  • Manage products to agreed business levels
  • Meet business financial reporting requirements and targets on a monthly basis

To be successful in this position as Stock Controller we are looking for someone who has experience working in a similar Stock Controller or Logistics role. This Stock Controller position will suit someone who has experience using Excel & SAP as these are used extensively.
