We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager who has been responsible for turnkey plant construction projects to the value of £20 million industrial site build. The bespoke Process Plant Build has been signed off and are currently looking to go live with phase one of the construction project .
Immediate position based on a 6 month contract working with one of the UKs leading blue chip chemical manufacturing company

You must have 10 years + Project Management experience within the process sectors with proven track record of delivering technically complex construction projects from inception to completion in a regulated environment.
Knowledge and experience of Client PM governance processes and procedures Both pre and post contract duties

  • Directing internal engineering and design resources to produce delivery on schedule and on budget monitoring progress and performance.
  • Ensuring effective technical coordination with Clients or third-party representatives and making necessary technical decisions to resolve conflicts between disciplines.
  • Coordinating the review of client’s specifications and procedures, preparation of deviation lists, and managing client review of AP deliverables.
  • Ensuring all changes are handled in accordance with the project procedures and owns the whole lessons learned process.
  • You will have significant previous meaningful experience within a professional environment in addition to a Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in an engineering discipline.
  • You possess a strong track record in the management of detailed engineering activities of process plants
  • You have previous experience on Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC Petrochemical )
  • Previous experience and time spent at construction sites. Process Plant construction would be essential
  • You need an ability to bring teams together to achieve project targets and achieve goals.
