An opportunity for a number of Semi-Skilled Vehicle Builders/Finishers to join a world leader in Waste Handling Equipment.

Our client have already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high profile projects for local authorities and national and international Contractors and on the back of this they have been recently been awarded another major contract and thus are looking to add a number of Semi-Skilled Vehicle Builders/Finishers on a 6 month contract to their highly experienced team.

The client is a highly successful international business with a number of manufacturing and service facilities in the UK and abroad with its roots going back to the 1800’s.

Our client has an impressive list of accreditations /approvals, ranging from ISO 9001 to Investors in People.

They are the market leaders in terms of innovation, safety and aftermarket service.

DUTIES INCLUDED FOR THE ROLE OF SEMI SKILLED VEHICLE BUILDERS/FINISHERS:

*Sub Assembly/Final Assembly of Electrical/Mechanical Vehicle Systems.

*Preparing Wiring Looms/Components.

*Working from schematic engineering drawings.

*Assisting putting air pipes on for brakes and air tanks including mechanisms for doors.

KEEN TO SPEAK TO SEMI SKILLED VEHICLE BUILDERS/FINISHERS WHO HAVE:

*Knowledge of Vehicle Electrics/Body Building/Coach Building.

*Able to work from Electrical/Hydraulics schematic drawings.

*Some experience in Electro-mechanical assembly techniques.

*Worked in a fast-paced production-based environment.

THE OFFER FOR THE ROLE OF SEMI SKILLED VEHICLE BUILDERS/FINISHERS:

*An hourly PAYE rate of £10.00an hour, plus overtime paid @ ½.

*Flexible Working Hours between Monday to Friday.

*Weekly Pay.

*Potential of a permanent position after the initial 6-month contract.
