The company are a leading food manufacturer working across all kinds of varieties of food. They are experiencing a rapid period of change and site expansion at the Thrapston site and they need a Reliability Engineer to join and strengthen the friendly and hard-working team. This is a challenging, demanding, rewarding and fast paced role and is based at one of the biggest site of this kind in Europe.

You will be the standalone Reliability Engineer on site you will be a part of the management team working alongside the Department Manager and Shift Manager.

Responsibilities of the role:

As the site Reliability Engineer you will proactively lead reliability projects driving a structured approach to develop new maintenance plans based on analysis of top loss events that improve asset operations.

Your role is important, you will be a vital part of the team working alongside the Department Manager and Shift Manager, encouraging a forward-thinking environment and supporting the company in achieving change and improvement through driving practical Asset Care activities to foster a culture of asset ownership and increased performance.

To be successful in this role you will have the following key skills and experience:

  • Ideally you will have 5 years’ engineering experience in a Food/FMCG environment.
  • HND/HNC Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Reliability and Continuous Improvement experience including: developing Asset Care and Autonomous Maintenance strategies, OEE or Capital Investment projects.
  • Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, PLC, HMI, Scada, SQL

The role is demanding but rewarding, in return for your efforts you will receive a basic salary of £45,000 per annum, a double-figure pension, 25 holidays + stats, Friends and family discount, bonus schemed and other flexible benefits.
