Operating out of a 45,000sqft facility in Leeds, this service provider are part of a globally operating organisation that employs over 4,000 people across the world. Their Leeds based facility offers specialist services for a variety industries, including Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Medical Devices, Defence and Automotive.

Because of continued demand of their services at the Leeds facility, this organisation are looking to increase their Leeds headcount by recruiting a Quality Inspector on a permanent basis.

Based in Leeds, just a few minutes from the M1, the successful Quality Inspector will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns and cities including Castleford, Pontefract, Wakefield, Bradford, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Harrogate, Wetherby and Halifax.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector will include:
· Carrying out in-process and final inspection of coated, plated and painted components, ensuring that customer specifications & requirements are achieved
· Operating in-line with industry-specific customer requirements, for example MOD/Defence, Automotive, Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Medical.
· Effectively using DTF gauges to understand & identify the depth & thickness of coated and plated components

For the Quality Inspector vacancy, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:
· IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Previous experience spent in a similar position, ideally within a coating focused environment
· Previous experience working in an Engineering, Manufacturing or Industrial environment
· A positive approach to work and the willingness to learn new skills as well as obtain qualifications, accreditations and certifications

In return, the successful Quality Inspector will receive:
· Renumeration: £25,000.00 – £30,000.00
· Holiday Allowance: 28 Days including public holidays
· Pension: 8% Combined contribution (3% Employer / 5% Employee)
· Working Hours: 37 per week
o Monday to Thursday – 08:00 to 16:30
o Friday – 08:00 to 13:00
