An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer working in East Yorkshire, Mon to Fri role, Permanent Role, Early finish on a Friday, up to £45K (Dependant on experience)

This position is working with a growing manufacturing business that has multiple sites in England. They have some exciting new projects coming as they continue to expand to develop the business.

Some overseas travel will be required on occasion to support this customer and also others elsewhere in the future.

Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:

• Delivery of the IATF:16949 Core Tools; APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP
• Ensure the Quality Management System continues to meet requirements of ISO 9001 & IATF:16949
• Monitoring customer feedback to identify any quality concerns and liaising with customers to resolve issues
• Develop, sustain and improve standard work
• Developing performance measurements and reporting requirements that set quality metrics for each stage of the production process

Skills desired for the Quality Engineer:

• Experience in problem-solving using 8D
• Familiar with lean manufacturing techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills, can communicate well with; colleagues at all levels, customers, suppliers and external accreditation bodies
• Ideally familiar with IATF:16949, or experience of APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP in a similar industry
