The company is a well-established manufacturing leader with a global reach and strong expansion plans. They specialise in the manufacture of heavy fabricated tanks, silos, roofs and covers predominantly using Steel products. Following the appointment of a new General Manager towards the end of the year they have implemented a number of new processes and procedures and are looking for someone who can drive quality throughout the business.
You will have prior experience of managing ISO9001 Standards within a manufacturing environment and ideally be qualified to Internal Auditor level. You will be responsible for undertaking internal auditing, managing all paperwork relating to the companies processes and product, carrying out supplier audits and developing KPI’s to measure the company’s QMS. The position is site-based working within a small team as the UK arm of a global company. You should be able to challenge behaviour and be an advocate for ensuring compliance with the QMS systems.
