An opportunity for a QC INSPECTOR to join a Global Business, that manufacture highly engineering products for the oil & gas, power generation and aerospace & defence markets.

Our client have already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently awarded another major contract and thus are looking to add a QC INSPECTOR on a Permanent Contract.

Our Global Client is backed by extensive years of innovation and extensive research and design to production.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE OF QC INSPECTOR :

  • Ensuring that components meet the drawing specification and quality standards.
  • Generate and maintain inspections records in accordance with the latest company procedures and client requirements.
  • Carry out detailed inspections on all manufactured items and goods bought in.
  • Carry out detailed visual weld inspections.
  • Conduct dye penetrant inspections according to company inspection and test procedures.
  • Liaise with the Manufacturing Operations Manager regarding quality, welding and issues.
  • Maintain equipment in good condition.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE OF QC INSPECTOR :

  • 5 years’ experience of welding, stelliting and refractory installation.
  • Experience of dye pen required.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Quality Management Systems.
  • Computer literacy (including Microsoft Office).
  • Experience in the use of lifting equipment, including slinging and use of overhead crane.

THE OFFER FOR THE ROLE OF QC INSPECTOR :

  • Salary , £35,000 + per annum,
  • Life insurance.
  • BUPA after 3month probationary period (+family member add on).
