Looking for a new and challenge opportunity as a Production Team Leader? Well this family run company, are always open to new talent to add to the diverse environment. As a Production Team Leader, you will be working within an attractive food category and surrounded by long standing employees.

This traditionally Yorkshire company are well known for their enrolment with upskilling and interaction with member of the company, they are in constant working in partnership with local communities and retailers within the UK. This Food Manufacturer are always looking to better themselves and grow with the times, they have recently invested in many new ways of working to improve the site and drive the departments forward.

About the role:

  • This key role allows you to manage a close kit team of 10+ Operatives
  • Due to the company constantly growing there is potential progression opportunities with this role
  • What makes this role stand out from other position is that the business is all about high quality products and processes so you will need to always be striving to improve upon these.
  • All lines are running smoothly and any faults are reported to Supervisor in a timely manner
  • Operatives are carrying out their jobs safely whilst fulfilling the production plan targets
  • As a Team Leader you will need to ensure the skills set in your area allow coverage for holidays / sickness
  • Complete the relevant production paperwork accurately
  • Ensure your area is left clean and tidy and handed over as you would expect to receive it
  • Step up to Supervisor level to cover holidays etc

What you need to apply:

  • A proven track record in Food/FMCG Manufacturing Industry.
  • In addition to this, experience as either a Production Supervisor, Production Team Leader, Area Leader or Shift Leader to be considered.
  • Due to the fast-paced nature you need to be flexible to the business demands and work well under pressure.
  • Not to be afraid to be hands on. For example, setting up machinery and changing materials on the line when required.
