Looking for a new and challenge opportunity as a Production Supervisor, this prestigious company is growing rapidly, they are always open to new talent to add to the diverse environment. As a Production Supervisor you will be working within an attractive food category and surrounded by long standing employees.

The 20-year-old company itself is a multi-million-pound turnover business and is growing every day, they employ thousands of people and they are known for their good staff retention. This position has come available due to expansion within the Production Department.

About the role:

  • This key role allows you to manage a close kit team of Production Operatives
  • Be able to provide good examples management in order to meet the department targets under Health & Safety, Hygiene, Quality, Manufacturing Performance and Cost.
  • Being able to liaise with fellow members of the Department such as; Team Leaders, Supervisors and Engineers with regards to any issues or downtime on site.
  • Oversee the raw materials and final goods which were brought in and out of the company and ensuring the quality of the product was to high standards
  • Due to the company constantly growing there is potential progression opportunities with this Supervisor role
  • What makes this role stand out from other position is that the business is all about high quality products and processes so you will need to always be striving to improve upon these.

What you need to apply:

  • To have at least 3 to 4 years’ experience as a Supervisor in the Food/FMCG Manufacturing Industry.
  • In addition to this, experience as either a Production Supervisor, Production Team Leader, Production Area Manager, Area Supervisor or Production Shift Manager to be considered.
  • Due to the fast-paced nature you need to be flexible to the business demands and work well under pressure.
  • Not to be afraid to be hands on. For example, setting up machinery and changing materials on the line when required.
