This Process Engineer role is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK’s market leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. This permanent role based in Mirfield will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to build experience in multiple areas of the business, enhancing their skillset.

Taking this opportunity as Process Engineer would mean working for a leading global producer of pharmaceuticals. This is a key manufacturing company relied on by many industries and this Process Engineer role is critical in supporting the sites engineering and maintenance departments, providing support across a variety of small scale batch manufacturing plants up to large scale continuous improvement Manufacturing Plants.

Responsibilities of the successful Process Engineer:

  • Lead & provide support to CAPEX and OPEX projects
  • Carryout drawing updates, check current P&ID’s and update where necessary
  • Take responsibility for closing out ‘actions/small projects’ associated with general activities for the department.
  • Take ownership of and drive the compliance database to close out actions associated with DSEAR/PUWER/HAC/PHR for site.
  • Reviewing and archiving documentation
  • Generation and execution of equipment qualification documentation e.g., DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ

The successful Process Engineer will have relevant experience working in a Chemical/Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or in a similar industry. It would be beneficial for applicants to be degree educated in mechanical/chemical engineering. Experience in Project Management alongside sound regulatory and compliance knowledge would also be valuable.
