Plant Fitter is needed salary, £30,500, Flexible working hours, Multinational Company, Van and Company credit card for fuel and purchase parts, private medical insurance, generous holiday package with an option to buy more holidays. Full training will be given which would include spending two weeks at the manufacturing facility. All expenses paid.

The position is working with an international leading engineering business who are at the forefront of ancillary systems for the Heavy Goods Vehicles The position offers the opportunity for world-class training and support, along with potential career development opportunities. Due to expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Service Engineer/Plant Fitter to be based on-site in Derby

We would be very keen to speak people who have experience of working as a Plant Fitter, Hydraulic or Compressor engineer, Mechanical fitter, Forklift truck engineer, HGV technician or fitters with working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or pumping systems.

Duties of the Plant Fitter role:

  • To inspect, repair service and complete preventative maintenance upon pumping systems used upon HGV’s
  • Complete PDI inspections.
  • Complete any mechanical maintenance, testing and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, compressors, motors, and ancillary equipment.
