Packaging Manager to join a global leading drinks company starting November 2022 for a 12 month contract for a salary of up to £46,000 based in Colworth Chichester. This role is a hybrid position requiring you to go through onto site either 1 day a week or twice a month the remaining would be remote working averaging 37.5 hours a week over 5 days.

The company is a well-known leading FMCG company that spends millions of pounds a year into their branding since they are aware that this is the first touchpoint for consumers across the world, you will be able to have a very exciting hands on opportunity to work with this company as a key Packaging Manager.

To be considered for this role as a Packaging Manager you must have experience in driving channel execution, set development and testing principles in order to drive flexibility, developing consumer and customer preferred designs solutions, while owning and driving a highly complex pipeline of projects.

Responsibilities of a Packaging Manager

  • Responsible for managing the technical delivery of repack materials, POS displays and liaise with local teams including procurement.
  • Manage internal relationships with Supply Chain & Procurement team members as well as external, suppliers, partners and copackers.
  • Develop and maintain technical timeline documentation and systems supporting the project lead and team to meet order dates.
  • Responsible for managing the technical delivery of repack materials, POS displays and liaise with local teams and procurement for execution.
  • Ensure product claims support, technical risk management, and compliance with policy, legal, regulatory and safety clearances are followed.
  • Work in partnership as the Packaging Manager with the Project lead in shaping the technical aspects of the project e.g., product performance standards/targets and translation of these into a technical project workplan, in alignment with all team members, for monitoring delivery and ensuring quality and sustainability
  • As the Packaging Manager you will be controlling the technical delivery of Innovation / renovation projects from start up to launch and oversee deploy to all regions.
