Our client is an international engineering and manufacturing business who have a long-established reputation for designing, building and commissioning process manufacturing machinery in the Huddersfield area. They offer fantastic opportunities for both personal and career progression, working within a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Due to continue growth within the key market sector they are currently seeking a number of Electrically biased engineers to join their machine build and installation team.

Work as part of a machine build and test team, you will be responsible for the electrical wiring of machines working from schematic drawings within a workshop environment. The position will be typically working 3 to 5 weeks in the workshop building the machinery and factory testing, followed by circa one week, working away from home, at times internationally installing and commissioning the machines as part of a project team.

Full product training and support is provided by our end client, often buddying up with other colleagues for training on the job.

Key Requirements

  • Engineering qualification level 3 or above in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • 17th or 18th edition qualification
  • Flexible to at times working away from home as part of a team installing machinery
  • Full UK driving licence

Hours of work: Days Monday to Friday

The position may suit: Installation Electrician, Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Multi Skilled Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, etc
