Multi Skilled Engineer

Available now we have a number of Multi Skilled Engineer vacancies with a prestigious manufacturing company based in Deeside. The shift available is 4 on 4 off days and nights, paying salaries ranging from £47,000 – £52,000 alongside a competitive benefits package including 30 days annual leave, discount cards, life insurance of up to 4 x basic salary and much more.

You will be based at their state-of-the-art site in Deeside in a fast-paced and dynamic department where no two days will be the same.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Engineer:

• You will be responsible for dealing with both reactive and preventative maintenance across the whole site.
• You will be involved with a variety of projects such as PPM, Continuous Improvement and New Machinery Installations.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults, machine emergencies or unplanned problems in a systematic and logical manner.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures for each machine.

I would love to see CVs from individuals who have:

• One of the following qualifications: Level 3 in City and Guilds, NVQ or BTEC (Apprenticeship) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge in dealing with breakdowns on Manufacturing / Production Machinery such as slicers, conveyors, mixers, packaging machinery, ovens, check weighers to name a few.
• Industry experience within one of the following areas: Food, Drink, Packaging, Print, Textiles, Plastics, Pharmaceuticals or any other fast-paced environment.
• Worked previously as a Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Shift Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Multi-Skilled Technician.
