The position is working with an international leading engineering business who are at the forefront of ancillary systems for the UK HGV and Road tanker industry. The position offers the opportunity to work for a company that provide excellent training and working conditions with the role potentially being extended for the right person.

We are keen to speak with people that offer experience of ideally working in a mechanical assembly position. The role is varied and you would be required to read basic engineering drawings as well as work with your own initiative

The position will involve the mechanical assembly of shafts and drive line sub-assemblies, full training can be provided. Any one who has worked in mechanical assembly position can transfer their skills to this position.

We would be very keen to speak to people who have worked as Apprentice trained or semi-skilled mechanical fitter, bench fitter, vehicle fitters, HGV fitters, PCV fitters, hydraulics engineers, mechanical fitters.
Benefits of the Mechanical assembler position

  • Salary £21,100 – 39 hrs a week
  • OT paid at 1,5 after 39 hrs
  • Monday to Friday – 15.30 finish on Friday
  • 3 months Temporary contract – more than likely will be extended for the right person
  • Friendly team – Good working atmosphere
