You are invited to apply for the position of Maintenance Engineer and join a well-respected manufacturing business within the Building & Construction product industry. We are looking for a highly motivated Maintenance Engineer with drive and enthusiasm to strengthen the maintenance side of the engineering department.

Joining an established, friendly and close -knit team this role presents the opportunity to join a company in an exciting time of growth. This is a well organised and efficient site providing a fantastic working environment for its employees. As Maintenance Engineer your day to day duties will include but are not limited to;

  • General day to day breakdowns
  • Ordering and managing engineering spares and stock
  • Identifying and developing preventative maintenance strategy including being instrumental in setting up a computerised maintenance management system.
  • Up keep and expansion of work shop facilities and storage.
  • Continuous improvement of plant.
  • Being First call on both electrical and Mechanical breakdowns.
  • Recording and analysing breakdown logs
  • Hydraulics
  • PLC fault finding, backing up systems, program modifications (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens S7)
  • Electrical upgrades
  • Maintaining and testing fire alarms systems
  • Managing contractors on site
  • Manage the H&S aspects of the operation to meet and/or exceed legislative requirements and Company standards
