The company are one of the UK’s largest food manufacturers with a variety of sites throughout the UK. This site in particular has been through a considerable amount of change over the past two years to increase the size of the factory with an exciting expansion programme in place. This in turn has created a number of positions for skilled professionals to join the team.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be in a position where you can really get stuck in, working in a fast-paced environment that will constantly have you thinking on your feet. Due to the site expansion, there will be lots of fresh new challenges for you daily, you will have the opportunity to get involved in project work whilst carrying out planned preventative maintenance and also attending to breakdowns whilst being a part of the Maintenance team.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Maintenance Engineer ideally coming from a Food or FMCG industry background. You will be either City and Guilds qualified, NVQ Level 3 qualified or full apprenticeship trained in either a mechanical or electrical discipline and will have a good appreciation for both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
