This Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer position with a leading global chemical manufacturer. The company is consistently expanding and looking to add an individual to their operation based in Stockton-on-Tees on a continental shift. Ongoing investment is paid into training, development and qualification of employees working on this site, allowing them to progress through the company.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer;

  • Engaging in a training and development programme to increase and maintain technical skills.
  • Progressing towards company funded qualifications – COMPEX, HNC etc.
  • Building an in depth understanding of the manufacturing site and COMAH regulations to become a technical specialist.
  • Safety checks on electrical systems and calibration work on instrumentation systems for legislative regulations in accordance with procedures laid down to ensure compliance with our COMAH, PPC, ISO 9002/14001 accreditations.

Ideally candidates will have a strong background in working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on COMAH Chemical, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. I am also interested in speaking with Electrical Technicians, E&I Technicians, Instrumentation Technicians and Electrical Engineers. Qualifications can include COMPEX or City & Guilds in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.

The Maintenance Engineer position will be operated on a a continental shift. The company also offer a number of perks including a double figure pension and private health care benefit.
