Full-time position for a Machine Operator, working 4 days a week 38.5 hrs a week, 3 day weekend, Free parking and easily accessible company. 17,000K a year. Temp to Perm contract

Location of the Machine Operator position: Smethwick

The Machine Operator position is for as market-leading vehicle auxiliary equipment company, that provides Equipment for NHS vehicles and as a result of the current situation, they are extremely busy. They have a very good reputation in their industry and boast excellent working conditions. Training and direction will be provided by the end employer, however, the mechanical experience is required, as is the ability to work from instructions and briefs.

Duties of the Machine Operator position:

  • Vertical drilling (Drilling, reaming, tapping threads, countersinking).
  • Operating the band saw.
  • Understand/be able to read CAD drawings.
  • Using Vernier calipers to measure goods accurately.
  • Keeping areas and machines clean and tidy.
