We’re recruiting for a Key Account Manager for a large engineering business who design and manufacture a very specialist product. The role of Key Account Manager is a strategic role with the aim to secure sustainable business and growth from a defined portfolio of customers and to develop each customer account in accordance with the strategy and KPIs set out in the company’s business plan. As the Key Account Manager, you will provide leadership for all aspects of the customer’s business in order to secure and maintain a successful, enduring, long-term relationship.
Must Have: civil aerospace or defence key account management / sales experience
Nice to have: Project management experience across an Engineering Manufacturing function.
Nice to have: Commercial / contracts experience
Nice to have: Experience of working with / for any of the following companies: BAE, Cobham, Collins, Diehl Defence, GE, Kongsberg Defence, Leonardo, MBDA, Raytheon, Saab, Safran, Thales
Nice to have: Estimating experience
Nice to have: Bid work / proposal writing experience
