The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE Manager) position is working for a stock market listed, international engineering & manufacturing organisation, with multiple sites across the UK.

Due to expansion, and recent major CAPEX investment they are now seeking to appoint an HSE / EHS Officer at one of the leading manufacturing sites in the Bradford area. Within the position of HSE / EHS Officer you will be responsible for site-wide Health, Safety, and Environmental delivery of the company-wide HSE / EHS strategy, ensuring legislative requirements are met, whilst developing the Health, Safety, and Environmental culture at a site level.

Single site position based close to Bradford/Leeds/Halifax/Huddersfield with wider company support also available

Key requirements of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE Manger) role

* Experience in helping to implement and establish Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy within manufacturing, or engineering environment against and with support of the overarching corporate strategy
* The ability to switch between working strategically and tactically, at times providing hands-on support in the delivery of Health & Safety / HSE activities
* Strong H&S knowledge and Environmental knowledge supported with Nebosh certificate, or equivalent in H & S
* Experience in developing, implementing, and continuously improving management systems, in line with ISO accreditation requirements – e.g. ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001
* Experience in developing implementation and improving plans for the whole suite of Health and Safety activities, whilst working closely with the wider business across the UK
* COSHH assessment experience
