Fabricator Welder up to £16.75 an hr Monday to Thursday, OT paid at x1.5. permanent position, weekly paid.

Location of this opportunity: Bolton

The Fabricator Welder opportunity is working at a market-leading vehicle converter that have a full order book and long-serving staff.

We would welcome individuals to apply for the role who have experience working as a vehicle builder, exterior vehicle body panel builder, commercial vehicle body builder.
Responsibilities for the Fabricator Welder:

  • Fabricating and Welding chassis parts and vehicle body parts
  • Loading Jigs
  • Cutting vehicles using power tools
  • Welding vehicle parts using welding set
  • Transporting doors onto a trolley and moving to other areas of the workshop
  • Putting skins on with a clenching tool
  • Re-fitting doors to vehicles

Key skills for the Fabricator Welder role:

  • Time-served on a recognised apprenticeship
  • Experience working on vehicles
  • Experience working independently, and to be supportive within a wider team;
  • Good communicator both verbally and written;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines;
  • Excellent organisation skills;
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent attention to detail, right-first-time attitude
