There are two Electrical Team Leader roles available, offering a total salary of up to just over £48,000 for shifts and £42,000 for days.

As the Electrical Team Leader, you will be part of a multi-disciplined team responding to breakdowns & developing repair strategies, working 12-hour days / Nights depending on the role. You will support the departments Shift Management team (Production and Engineering) to ensure Safety, Quality and Production Plans are all met.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Team Leader

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of skilled and apprentice craftsmen in all aspects of the workplace
  • The team is responsible across site to improve performance & reliability.
  • Plan labour & material requirements for plant needs as specified by Section Engineers.
  • Planning & delegating activities of Team Members and contractors, through monitoring & controlling attendance & holidays and assisting in delivery of technical & safety training.
  • Undertake Technician role as required.
  • Carry out PPM inspections.
  • Coordinate & supervise other services & contractors.

To excel in the role of Electrical Team Leader, you should be an experienced engineer within a heavy manufacturing industry, preferably holding an ONC or higher level qualification.
