An opportunity for an Electrical Plant Engineer to join a global leader that recycle specialist materials. Our client have already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently been awarded another major contract and thus require a Electrical Plant Engineer to join their team .
The client has been in business for over 35 years, with 6 stragically located operations all over the UK and their head office in Sheffield.
Our client have worked for a number of international and national customers always looking to improve and represent their industry of which they are active members of their trade confederations.
DUTIES INCLUDE :
* Main duties will include Electrical work on mobile plant, material handler crane, forklift truck, overhead crane and other plant, plus a large 11 KW Shredder.
* To offer maintenance support to all maintenance personnel and follow the instructions of the Maintenance and Engineering Team Leader, to ensure the up keep of all Plant and Equipment at site.
* To work to specific duties as per the Maintenance and Engineering Team Leader to ensure all preventative maintenance and plant breakdowns are kept to a minimum by checking over the mill.
* Take responsibility for yourself and other maintenance personnel around you, to ensure that no person is put at risk from insufficiently maintained equipment.
* Check adequate control are in place to prevent unwanted start-up of any equipment that is under maintenance, including at the end of the work day.
*Advice the Maintenance and Engineering Team Leader of any plant spares that may need ordering, in conjunction with the Operations Manager and Operations Director.
KEEN TO SPEAK TO :
* Electrical Maintenance Engineers with experience on Shredders/PLC’s.
* Industrial Maintenance Electrical Engineers.
*Maintenance Electricians with experience in the recycling industry.
* Live within a commutable distance to Rotherham .
THE OFFER :
* A lucrative sum of £35,000 -£40,000 per Annum.
* Overtime available paid at time and a half.
* 33 days paid holidays.
