This Electrical Maintenance Engineer vacancy offers a salary of £52,600, company pension matched to 10% by the end employer, generous holiday allowance and overtime opportunities at x 1.5 and x 2, for those who want it, taking earnings to well in excess of £60/65k.

Based in the area of Leighton Buzzard, the hours of work are 4 on 4 off – Days and Nights, from 6am to 6pm, 6pm to 6am, 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off.

They manufacturer products within a fast-paced automated environment and can offer you an array of accredited training, further development, and career progression opportunities, including cross skilling – further PLC training and automated systems such as robotics etc.

Roles and Responsibility of Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Responsible for plant wide proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance activities to ensure the optimum performance of the factory
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs, motors, drives, invertors, safety circuits, 3 phase machinery, conveyor-based systems, PLC’s
  • Carry out Reactive Maintenance Activities as required

To Be Successful as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • You will need to hold one of the following qualifications to be considered: City and Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, apprentice trained etc in electrical engineering
  • Direct experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer
  • Planned and reactive maintenance experience
