An Electrical Assembly Technician is required on a permanent basis, working Monday – Friday days for our manufacturing client based in Lewes, East Sussex. This opportunity will offer a salary of between £25,000 – £29,000 per annum in addition to benefits such as company and performance bonus, 32 days holiday (including bank holidays), private healthcare and many more.

You will be working for a market-leading, multi-million pound, global manufacturer that has been operating for nearly four decades and is continuously expanding and growing. This position will provide you with further training, career development and the chance to work within a fast-paced and dynamic department.

Roles and Responsibilities as an Electrical Assembly Technician:

  • Diagnose, repair and test electronic assemblies to component level.
  • Hand soldering and rework of faults.
  • Reading and interpreting circuit diagrams and assembly drawings.
  • Working to time-critical requirements to a high quality and standard.

I would be interested to see CVs from candidates who have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Electronics or Electrical Engineering as this is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in electronic repair, test or engineering within a manufacturing environment as this is essential.
  • Have an IPC certification as this would be desirable.
