Design Engineer- Modular


Our client is at the forefront of new & innovative offsite and onsite modular manufacturing and construction technologies in the UK. Based from the Liverpool area they boast an enviable portfolio of projects across the residential sector in the UK. Due to an ambitious and achievable pipeline of projects, they are now looking to recruit for a Design Engineer from an offsite manufacturing background.

This Design Engineer role is offering a starting salary in the region of £30,000 per annum alongside fantastic opportunities for career development as the company is experiencing significant growth.

Main Responsibilities & Duties of the Design Engineer;

  • Liaise with the internal design team to ensure the design intent is followed
  • Solve issues arising from the production line in a timely manner to minimise stoppages
  • Coordinate information with the procurement team and external suppliers
  • Create detailed fabrication drawings for use in the factory

Requirements to be successful as the Design Engineer;

  • Conversant with Building Regulations and ability to implement
  • Proven experience in delivering complete working drawing packages.
  • Proficient with Autodesk Revit along with an understanding of BIM standards and procedures
  • Degree or equivalent in an Architectural or Design discipline
