Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary circa: £17,000 to £20,000

Position Overview

Our client which are a leading Fleet Management company with offices across the UK are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to be based in their Nottingham office.

The main purpose of this role is to provide and maintain a high level of customer service and administrative support to all contractual activities by efficient monitoring and supervision of the customer service activities.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Carry out the raising of new jobs and check sheets for maintenance work.
  • Manage client’s service / repair scheduling, including identification of work required and allowing the correct amount of time for the work to be completed.
  • Update the computer systems in a timely manner.
  • Process ‘timed-up’ job cards onto the computer system, undertake invoice process and manage open jobs ensuring they are kept to a minimum at all times.
  • Handle calls from clients in regard to defect vehicles and progress chasing return of vehicles.
  • Issue spare fleet vehicles.
  • Manage the recharge and authorisation process of repairs.
  • Develop and improve service delivery approach in line with best practice methodologies and continuous improvements.

Essential qualifications & experience:

  • In depth experience in a similar role and customer service driven environment.
  • In depth customer service administration experience.
  • Experience of working within a quality standard/framework.
  • General knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Experience of workshop scheduling.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Flexible approach and commitment to working overtime at short notice.

Our client offers a performance related bonus of up to 2.5% of basic salary.
