Working for a company employing leading professionals within the sector, this Credit Manager will be working for an organisation that has ambitious growth deliverables it has been achieving and is forecast to achieve over the next few years.

Responsibilities of the Credit Manager;

  • To provide technical guidance, advice and assistance to all levels of the business on matters of risk management. Carry out risk assessments, where applicable, to ensure that there is an on-going review of customer limits.
  • Review and update all customer limits at least once per year, using trade history information from SAP, external D&B reports and financial information obtained directly from the customer.
  • Credit Manager will be required to support the sales leaders and customer service team with debt collection and provide the company with regular reports and commentary.
  • Account for the Bad and Doubtful Debt provision and where necessary take legal action against debtors, ensuring the process is controlled and documented.
  • To devise and maintain debtor procedures to ensure robust management of debtor working capital. In 2022 this will be focused on removing insurance policies to align to the rest of the group.

To be successful in this position as Credit Manager we are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years debt recovery experience in a complex business. It is also desirable for the successful candidate to hold a CICM or equivalent qualification. The successful candidate will have experience working collaboratively and may have been involved in related process improvement projects. SAP experience is preferred, however the minimum expectation would be good Microsoft Excel and ERP skills.
