The successful Commercial Manager will be working on behalf of a leading UK-focussed downstream energy manufacturer, operating on one of the most advanced sites of its kind both throughout the UK and Europe. The new product the client is looking for the Commercial Manager to take to market is targeted towards the lease of tanker storage and storage space on their site based in the Runcorn area of Cheshire. This is a top-tier COMAH site and therefore this storage space can be used to store all kinds of product, including petroleum, petrochemicals, fats and agricultural products. They have already identified a number of potential revenue streams and will be offering a product that will be highly competitive and innovative in the current market which is forecasted to immediately propel them towards their objective of becoming the market leader.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Manager;
To be successful in this Commercial Manager position candidates will ideally have a business development/sales background in leasing bulk tanker storage nationwide within the UK. An awareness of the regulations on chemical/energy/petrochemical sites is also required, for example COMAH.
In addition to salary, the Commercial Manager will also be in receipt of a competitive benefits package that includes double figure non-contributory pension, car allowance (£6,500) private health care, annual bonuses of around 20%, and life assurance.
