We’re working with one of the UK’s leading manufacturing and assembly companies who have experienced growth of over 500% in the last 6 months. Due to their current level of business and their continuous expansion plans they are looking to recruit for a newly created role as an Assistant Architectural Design Manager to support the current Design Team. A privately-owned business with strong links throughout their industry they are one of the market leaders within their sector offering an outstanding product.

This is a position that can offer an enthusiastic architectural design focussed individual the opportunity to join a business within the Manufacturing industry that provides structured training, development and progression opportunities. The role/responsibilities:

  • You will report to the Design Manager, supporting the customers in plotting, planning and legislation.
  • You will acquire the projects from the Business Development Managers and you will be required to liaise with the customers face to face.
  • You will be required to review the design output and verifying its compliance with the client’s output specifications and contract proposals submission
  • Leading the team of design consultants to meet strict deadlines.
  • Travel will be required to visit existing and new customers, along with the various sites across the region

About you:

  • To fully excel in this role you’ll have worked within the Construction industry previously, whether it is within residential or commercial, this isn’t a paramount requirement
  • If you have a proven track record and a solid portfolio within architectural design, then you will be a perfect fit for this business.
  • In order to be considered for this role you will have worked as an Architectural Technician, Design Advisor, or similar.
  • A degree in the following is essential; Architectural Technology, Architecture, Construction Management
  • High level of experience with Revit, AutoCAD & associated design software
  • Valid driving licence
