Are you an Assembly Operative? Do you live in commutable distance to Huddersfield? If so, this Opportunity could be for you, we are currently looking for a number of Assembly Operative to join leading Manufacturing company. The Position of the Assembly Operative will be to work days Monday to Friday paying £8.41 per hour.

This is a position that can offer an Assembly Operative the opportunity to join a well-established family run business. Their manufacturing facilities are split between 2 main areas, one for machined plastics and the other for premium conveyor chain. Due to an increased demand they are expanding the manufacturing facilities.

Assembly Operative Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of conveyor chains
  • Pin checking
  • Chain heading
  • Adding links to pins
  • Operating and running semi-automated machines
  • Recording information
  • Report any breakdowns to line manager
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative

The successful Assembly Operative would have experience of assembly work, machine operating/minding, proven experience of working within a manufacturing/engineering environment, possess excellent communication skills, team player, computer literate, with the ability to work on own initiative.

In return the Assembly Operative will a competitive rate of pay on regular day shifts 7.45am-4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am-3.45pm on Friday with regular overtime available. Permanent opportunities available with free onsite parking.
