Position: Apprentice (trained) Vacuum Tanker Service Engineer (Field Service)

An opportunity for recently qualified vehicle engineer to become trained as a field service engineer to work with an industry leading vacuum tanker manufacturer.
This role would suit somebody who has recently just passed their level 3 qualification in Heavy vehicle or light vehicle mechanics or hold equivalent qualifications.

This is a very stable company, the Vacuum tankers found all over the world working in the most extreme conditions – from the artic temperatures of Siberia to the extreme heat of the deserts.
The role would be suitable for vehicles fitters. HGV Fitters, commercial vehicle engineers, mechanical vessel engineers, mechanical tanker engineers, mechanical engineers and RCV’s Fitters All apprentice trained engineers.
You will form part of a group of national field service engineers that will be required to service, repair, change components, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
To support you in this role the company will invest time in training you on the vehicle. This will include 2 weeks away In a European country.
Candidates will need to be self-motivated as following the initial training period this role involves lone working and early starts.
Looking for candidates who have a very high attention to detail. Experience of working with vacuum tankers would be advantageous, demonstrating experience in a mechanical or electrical field.
