Our client, a leading provider of cutting tools and applications-based solutions are currently looking for a home – based CNC Account Manager in the South / Home Counties. The Account Manager role offers a competitive salary plus benefits, company car, mobile phone + Commission.
The CNC Account Manager position offers fantastic opportunities for individuals who are able to demonstrate the ability to maintain and build effective client relationships within an engineering environment. In return those who have the want and drive to succeed will be provided with the opportunity to progress into senior management level.
The role as CNC Account Manager will predominantly be home based and the role will consist of:

  • Servicing existing accounts
  • Account management of existing clients
  • Developing new client-based relationships
  • Generating new business opportunities
  • Selling to engineering business owners, procurement departments and machine shop managers displaying technical knowledge
  • Working to key objectives and targets
  • Candidate Requirements
  • Existing Account Management of a warm client base

Apprentice trained engineer from a machine tool background – CNC

  • Sales or applications- based engineering experience would be an advantage but not necessarily essential
  • It is a pre-requisite that applicants are confident in listening to client’s requirements and providing a consultative approach in recommending engineering applications-based solutions to their machining and cutting requirements.
  • Strong IT skills capable of using Microsoft packages such as outlook, excel and word
  • Driving Licence essential

The ideal CNC Account Manager will ideally be an apprentice trained engineer from a machine tool background who understands CNC machining and has In-depth knowledge of CNC machine tools along with cutting technologies and CADCAM methods, perhaps upon CNC lathes, machining centres or specialist drilling, or cutting machinery.
