Multi Skilled Engineer

A rare opportunity has come available for a Multi Skilled Engineer ideally with a Mechanical bias to join a reputable manufacturing company that can offer you an outstanding package including 34 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), an annual company bonus and many financial and well-being schemes. This role is working Monday to Thursday 11:30 am – 8:00 pm and Friday 9:30 am – 6:00 pm and is paying between £42,000 – £45,000 per annum.

My client is a well-known and loved high-street brand founded originally in West Yorkshire with their manufacturing site based in Baildon. This role will be part of a fast-paced team where you will be working on state-of-the-art automated machinery and operating with a continuous improvement culture.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Engineer:

• Dealing with both reactive and preventive maintenance across the whole of the site.
• Be able to trace faults from the root cause analysis through to rectifying in full to reduce downtime of the production machinery.
• Understand and interpret both electrical and mechanical breakdowns promptly.
• Repairing and maintaining robotics and automated machinery.

I would be interested to see CVs from candidates who have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Multi Skilled, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in working with robotic and automated machinery.
• Worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment such as Food, Drink, FMCG, Packaging, Print etc.
• Previously worked as a Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Technician etc.
