Mechanical Fitter Salary Circa £30K, No weekend working, company bonus, OT paid at a premium, no weekend working, weekly pay, 33 days holiday, life assurance, private medical care

Location of the Mechanical fitter position: Dewsbury

The Mechanical Fitter position is working with a specialist HGV conversion company. The offers the ability to work within a modern, well-organised and safe working environment, in which low staff turnover exists and employees feel valued, through the training available and overall excellent working conditions that are available.

Working days Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for the mechanical fitting of ancillary equipment onto HGV vehicles, the work is both varied and interesting, including:

  • Working with vehicle chassis fitting component parts
  • Installing hydraulic/pneumatic systems, pumps, valves etc
  • Mechanical fitting
  • Working upon both standard and bespoke projects to include the development of new systems and ways of working, as part of a team

We would be very keen to speak to Mechanical fitters who have worked with HGVs, Road Tankers, Commercial Vehicles, etc, ideally demonstrating experience working as an HGV Fitter or HGV Technician, Vehicle fitter, Vehicle body builder, Maintenance engineer, mechanical fitter, service engineer, hydraulic engineer, pump fitter, or perhaps plant fitter.
